Rock and Pole is the North West's longest established alternative poledance school. The classes were created four years ago by Sally Steel, for people who would like to learn to pole dance, and enjoy rock/alternative music at the same time. We run pole dance classes, hen parties and other fun events in Liverpool, Leeds, Bury and Manchester. We can also be booked for exciting entertainment performances.
The music is rock/alternative with a few classic songs from other genres thrown in. We like AC/DC, Aerosmith, Audioslave, Alice in chains, Beastie Boys, Bloc Party, Buckcherry, Courtney Love, David bowie, Disturbed, Dragonforce, Drowning Pool, Editors, Foo Fighters, Faith no More, Genitotorturers, Good Charlotte, Hinder, Hole, Joan Jett, Kate Bush, The Killers, Marilyn Manson, Massive Attack, Megadeth, Metallica, Mindless self Indulgence, Motley Crue, No doubt, NIN, Pink, PJ Harvey,The Prodigy, Prong, Queen Adreena, Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Seether, Senser, Soil, Skinny Puppy, Stone Temple Pilots, Stone Sour, The Distillers, Van Halen, Wasp, ZZ Top, Lionel Richie and many more.
Pole dancing is a fun way to get fit, and a great way of boosting self confidence and learning to express yourself. Classes are fitness and dance based with a friendly, fun atmosphere, where you can meet like minded people.
Classes are taught by a professional, qualified and experienced instructor, using high quality x-poles.
